Soviet medal for the Liberation of Prague

Variation 1b with a separately soldered eyelet and clearly defined rays and wreath on the obverse of the medal

Medal for the Liberation of Prague: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.09 mm in width, 37.78 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 16.9 gram. 

This medal is in excellent condition. There are few dings and scratches and much gold plating is still present. The double layer brass suspension is time period to the medal.

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
