Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade variation 1
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.21 mm in width, 37.33 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 17.2 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition. It shows light wear only and is free of substantial dings and scratches. All details are crisp, even on the higher laying parts like the wreath and ribbon. Much of the gold plating is present and the double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal.
Scarce to find, especially in this condition
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Belgrade between 29 September and 22 October 1944.
