Medal for the Defense of the Caucasus
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of brass. The medal measures 32.14 mm in diameter, 37.15 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.5 grams without its suspension.
In nice overall condition with medium wear to both sides and some of its original luster still present. The details of the raised areas are partly worn off although most are still visible. The medal comes with its time period double layer brass suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of the Caucasus region during WW2 between July 1942 and 9 October 1943.Â
