Sub-variation with the soldiers on the tank carrying rifles
Made of gold plated brass. The medal measures 32.11 mm in diameter, 37.41 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.0 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in decent condition with medium overall wear. There are several few dings and scratches on both sides and some of the details are worn off although most are still visible. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Relatively scarce variation
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of the Caucasus region during WW2 between July 1942 and 9 October 1943.Â
