Made of brass. Measures 32.12 mm in width, 37.12 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.3 grams without its suspension.Ā
In excellent condition with its details crisp and light overall wear. There are relatively few dings and scratches on both sides and a fair amount of the original luster is still present. Its connection ring has not been cut end the suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal. On request we can add a new ribbon as replacement for the old one which is attached to its suspension by threads.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
