Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.09 mm in width, 36.57 mm in height (including the eyelet) and weighs 16.3 gram.
This medal is in excellent condition with light wear on its obverse and most details visible. Its reverse has several dings and small scratches but nothing distracting from its overall appeal. The medal shows an attractive patina and comes with its time period double layer steel suspension.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
