Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad 

Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet 

Made of brass. Measures 32.19 mm in width, 37.15 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 16.2 grams without its suspension. 

This medal is in excellent, well above average condition with light overall wear. Both sides show few dings and scratches and its details are perfectly crisp. The medal comes with its double layer suspension and old ribbon and its connection ring has not been cut.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
