Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad WW2
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.15 mm in width, 37.14 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 16.1 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice condition with most details still visible. Both sides show many dings and scratches, most noticeable on its reverse. The medal comes with its early suspension and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
