Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.26 mm in width, 37.54 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.3 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent, far above average condition with crisp details and much gold plating present. There are very few dings and scratches and the medal comes with its early wartime steel suspension. Its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad.
