Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad WW2

Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet 

Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.01 mm in width, 37.30 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.3 gram without its suspension. 

This medal is in worn but decent condition with a fair amount of details still visible. Both sides show several dings and scratches which are especially noticeable on its reverse The medal comes with a time period suspension and its connection ring has been cut.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
