Made of brass. Measures 32.08 mm in width, 37.21 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.0 grams without its suspension.Ā
In nice, above average condition with most details visible. Both sides show several small dings and scratches but none distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. Its connection ring has been cut and the early double layer suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
