Soviet Medal for the Defense of Sevastopol
Variation with a raised rim on its obverse and a smaller distance between the ends of the naval cap tally
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.22 mm in width, 37.14 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.4 grams without its suspension.
This medal is nice condition with light to medium overall wear. There are several small dings and scratches but none distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. Its details are mostly visible and crisp and some of the gold plating is still present. its double layer suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal and its connection ring has not been cut.

This medal was awarded to all participants in the defense of Sevastopol. Both to soldiers and civilians, who took part in the defense of Sevastopol during its siege by German forces.
