Medal for the Defense of Leningrad 

Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width, 37.81 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.7 grams without its suspension.

In decent condition with most details still visible and medium overall wear with several dings and scratches. The medal comes with its time period double layer brass suspension and the ends of the connection ring have been soldered together.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
