Medal for the Defense of Leningrad 

Variation 1b with a ‘Long Horizon’

Made of brass. Measures 32.05 mm in width, 37.92 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.

In superb condition with its details perfectly crisp and few traces of wear. Both sides show all of the original luster and a nice light patina. The medal comes with its time period double layer brass suspension and old ribbon.

Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
