Medal for the Defense of the Caucasus
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Made of brass. The medal measures 32.1 mm in diameter, 37.7 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.3 grams without its suspension.
In nice condition with light to medium overall wear. The details of the raised areas are visible although both sides show several dings and scratches. The medal comes with a brass suspension and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of the Caucasus region during WW2 between July 1942 and 9 October 1943.
