Made of brass. Measures 32.00 mm in width, 37.05 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.1 grams without its suspension.Ā
In worn but decent condition with most details visible and some corrosion spots on its obverse. Both sides show numerous small dings and scratches but none substantial. Its connection ring has been cut and the early double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
