Medal for the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Lenin to Foreigners
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.09 mm in width, 37.05 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 18.2 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in near mint condition with all details crisp and all gold plating present on both sides. The suspension and ribbon are also in excellent condition and time period to the medal. The medal comes with its original box.
This scarce award was awarded to non Soviet Communist leaders and foreign WW2 veterans who attended the 100th anniversary in Moscow. According to recently published Soviet archival records a little over 4000 of these were issued.
