Soviet Medal for the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Lenin to Foreigners
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.15 mm in width, 37.02 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.4 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in nice condition with light to medium wear and all details crisp. A fair amount of gold plating is still present and there have been no repairs. The suspension and ribbon are in excellent condition and original to the medal.
This scarce award was awarded to non Soviet Communist leaders and foreign WW2 veterans who attended the 100th anniversary in Moscow. According to recently published Soviet archival records a little over 4000 of these were issued.
