Medal for the Capture of ViennaÂ
Variation 2 (U-shaped eyelet)
Made of brass. Measures 32.14 mm in width, 36.94 mm in height, including the eyelet and weighs 17.3 grams without its suspension.
In nice condition with crisp details and a some of the original luster still present. Both sides show several but relatively few dings and scratches. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension and old ribbon.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Vienna between 16 March and 13 April 1945.
