Soviet medal for the Capture of Vienna 

Variation 2 (U-shaped eyelet)

Medal for the Capture of Vienna: made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.15 mm in width, 36.92 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.0 gram without its suspension. 

This medal is in near mint condition with perfect details and full gold plating. It comes with its time period double layer suspension and old ribbon.

Lovely piece and next to impossible to updrade!

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Vienna between 16 March and 13 April 1945.
