Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet to the medal
Made out of gilded brass. Measures 32.24 mm in width, 37.50 mm in height and weighs 16.1 grams without its suspension.
In decent overall condition with crisp details and very few traces of wear and much gold plating on its obverse. Its reverse shows corrosion and some scratches. The medal comes with its time period steel suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Königsberg between 23 January and 10 April 1945.
