Medal for the Capture of Budapest
Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet Â
Made out of gold plated brass. Measures 32.19 mm in diameter, 37.28 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.5 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with crisp details and some of the original gold plating still present. The brass suspension time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the battle of Budapest between 20 December 1944 and 15 February 1945.
