Made of German silver and lacquer. The medal itself measures 36.87 mm in width, 40.84 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 15.5 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with crisp details and full silver plating. It shows little wear and the transparent lacquer surrounding the soldier is all present. The medal comes with its original suspension.
Awarded to soldiers of the Soviet Army, Navy, border and internal troops: for excellent performance in combat and political training; for special distinction in exercises and manoeuvres in combat service and combat duty; for bravery, selflessness, and other services, shown during military service.
