Medal for Distinguished Military Service 1st class
Made of brass and lacquer. The medal measures 36.92 mm in width, 41.14 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 15.6 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with crisp details and all gold plating present. It shows light wear only and the transparent lacquer surrounding the soldiers is all present. The medal comes with its original suspension and screwplate.
Awarded to soldiers of the Soviet Army, Navy, border and internal troops: for excellent performance in combat and political training; for special distinction in exercises and manoeuvres in combat service and combat duty; for bravery, selflessness, and other services, shown during military service.
