Early scarce variation made of solid silver and flat eyelet
Made of solid silver. Measures 32.12 mm in width and 2.76 mm in thickness at the very edge of the medal. The height of the medal is 37.17 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 22.1 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with crisp details and a nice toning to the silver on both sides. It shows few traces of wear and even the details at the higher laying parts are perfectly visible. The medal comes with its old brass suspension and its connection ring has been cut.
Scarce to find
Awarded to members of the MVD for preserving public order; to all service personnel of the militsiya for courage shown during the liquidation of criminal groups and arrest of criminal; or for excellence in organizing and coordinating militia in combating crime or for selfless acts during the prevention of hooliganism/ alcoholism/ theft.
