Medal for Distinction in Guarding the State Border of the USSR
Made of silver plated nickel. It measures 32.12 mm in width, 36.94 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 16.9 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with most visible and light wear to the raised parts like the soldier’s face. Both sides show an appealing dark patina and the medal comes with a brass suspension. Its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to K.G.B. Border Troops personnel for military or other actions displaying excellence in guarding the Soviet borders.
