Medal for Distinction in Guarding the State Border of the USSR
The medal measures 32.10 mm in width, 37.12 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with crisp details, even on the raised areas like the soldier’s face. Its obverse shows an appealing dark patina on the silver plating and the medal comes with its time period aluminium suspension. Its connection ring has not been cut.
Awarded to K.G.B. Border Troops personnel for military or other actions displaying excellence in guarding the Soviet borders.
