The rarest of all post war Soviet Medals with only a few hundred made
Made out of solid silver. It measures 32.09 mm in diameter, 37.10 mm in height and weighs 21.7 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with all details crisp and a nice toning to the silver plating. It shows few dings and scratches and even the details of the raised areas like the fireman’s face are well defined. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension and ribbon and its connection ring has not been cut.
A beautiful and very rare piece!
Awarded all Soviet citizens for courage and bravery in extinguishing fires or saving lives/state or private property from fire or for preventing explosions and fires.
