Soviet Medal for Courage in a Fire
This relative early variation is made out of silver plated German silver. It measures 32.17 mm in diameter, 37.06 mm in height and weighs 18.0 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with all details crisp and a nice toning to the silver plating. It is completely free from dings and scratches and even the higher laying parts like the fire man’s face show almost no wear. It comes with its time period brass suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
A beautiful piece with attractive patina. Next to impossible to upgrade
Awarded all Soviet citizens for courage and bravery in extinguishing fires or saving lives/state or private property from fire or for preventing explosions and fires.
