Variation with a flat eyelet
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.20 mm in diameter and 2.39 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.18 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 18.7 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with its details crisp. Even the higher laying parts on its obverse show light wear only and all enamel is present. Both sides show an appealing patina to the silver and its connection ring has not been cut. The medal comes with its brass suspension and old ribbon.
This military medal awarded for “combat action resulting in a military success”; “courageous defense of the state borders”; or “successful military and political training and preparation”. Also awarded for 10 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
