Variation with a flat eyelet
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.23 mm in diameter and 2.39 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.29 mm (including the eyelet) and it weighs 18.8 grams without its suspension.
In superb condition with its details crisp. Even the higher laying parts on its obverse show virtually no wear and the enamels are perfectly preserved. Its connection ring has not been cut and the medal comes with a time period brass suspension and old ribbon.
This military medal awarded for “combat action resulting in a military success”; “courageous defense of the state borders”; or “successful military and political training and preparation”. Also awarded for 10 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
