The highest decoration to KGB officers. Awarded for outstanding achievements
This KGB badge is made of brass, gilt and enamels. It measures 47.48 in height, 26.05 mm in width and weighs 10.7 grams without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with well preserved enamels and crisp details. The raised details show light wear and most of the silver plating is still present although the brass base is visible along the edges. Its screw has not been shortened and the nut is original to the badge.
