Honored NKVD Firefighter badge #3226 (1940s)
Made of brass and enamels. It measures 50.29 mm in height, 30.29 mm in width and weighs 25.2 gram without its screwplate. Its serial number can be found on the top of its reverse.
In excellent condition with crisp details and light overall wear. Even the raised details on the coat of arms and the torch are all visible. The enamels are beautiful and well preserved and show some contact marks only, quite uncommon for a wartime badge. Its screw has been shortened by a few mm for more comfortable wear and there have been no repairs. The badge comes with its well fitted silver screwplate.
