GTO Badge (Ready for Labor and Defense) #A-23605 (1940-1941)
Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 30.32 mm in height, 24.24 mm in width at its widest point and weighs 7.8 grams without its screwplate. Its serial number and mint mark ‘MD’ can be found on its reverse.
This badge is in nice condition with crisp details and much of the original gold plating still present. The red and white enamels are generally well preserved and original but show a small repair on top of the red star. The scarce ‘Mondvor’ screwplate is correct for this badge and fits well. Both sides show an appealing patina to the silver.
