Group of Soviet Campaign MedalsÂ
The group consists of the following items:
Medal for the Liberation of Belgrade variation 1:
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.13 mm in width, 37.89 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 16.6 grams.Â
This medal is in a superb, well above average condition with crisp details. There are few dings and scratches only and almost all of the gold plating is still present.
Medal for the Capture of Budapest variation 1a:
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.09 mm in width, 37.52 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.0 grams.
In similar condition as the previous medal with full gold plating.
Medal for the Capture of Vienna variation 1:
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.17 mm in width, 37.31 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.1 grams.
Also a great example with hardly any wear and full gold plating.
Medal for the Victory over Germany variation 1:
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.20 mm in width, 37.59 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.3 grams.
Beautiful and early medal with few traces of wear.
A great set on a much desired suspension and all in equally excellent condition. Scarce as such!
