Rated ‘R’ by A.V. Khlamkin in ‘Excellence’ Breast Badges of the Red Army (1942-1957)Â Â
Made of plated brass and enamels. Measures 48.29 mm in height, 37.14 mm in width and weighs 16.8 grams without its screwplate. This variation has a very distinct shape and is substantially longer than most other badges of its type.
This badge is in sublime condition and next to impossible to upgrade. Its details are all crisp and the enamels are extremely well preserved with some minuscule contact marks only. There have been no repairs and the badge comes with its original and well fitted screwplate. Its screw has not been shortened.
