Interesting in this set is that the serial numbers are very close by!
Order of the Red Star #1039358
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 49.26 mm in width, 47.18 mm in height and weighs 30.0 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
The order is in decent condition with medium wear on its centre medallion. Most details however are still visible. The enamel on the 9 o’clock ray is mostly gone and a superficial enamel chip on the 3 o’clock ray is found but is otherwise fine and without repairs. The well fitted silver screwplate is time period to the order and the screw has not been shortened.
Order of the Red Star #1039388
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 49.33 mm in width, 47.23 mm in height and weighs 32.6 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
The order is in great condition with problem free enamels apart from a superficial chip on the tip of the top ray. The higher laying parts on its obverse show light to medium wear only and most details are still present. The well fitted screwplate is time period to the order and the screw has not been shortened.
Award Booklet
The group is accompanied by an order booklet mentioning both Red Stars only. The booklet is in good condition with all pages present and firmly attached.
