For shooting down one JU-87 and being involved in the downing of 4 more, killing dozens of Germans, taking 12 prisoners and continue fighting while being injured 

 

 

Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #407329

Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. The order weighs 25.6 grams without its screwplate and measures 45.91 mm in width and 48.13 mm in height.

In nice, about average condition with all details crisp and a dark patina on both sides. The red and white enamels are fully present and show several dings and scratches. The solid gold hammer and sickle is still firmly attached and original. The order comes with its time period screwplate and its screw is full length.

 

Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #2237624 (1985 jubilee) with order booklet

Made of solid silver and enamels. The order weighs 26.9 grams without its screwplate and measures 45.56 mm in width and 46.82 mm in height.

In superb condition with all details crisp and stunning enamels. Most of the rhodium plating is still present and there have been no repairs. The order comes with its time period screwplate and its screw is full length. Its booklet is in pristine condition and shows the matching number of the award.

 

Order of the Red Star #771271

Made of solid silver and enamels. The order weighs 29.5 grams without its screwplate and measures 48.59 mm in width and 47.30 mm in height.

In worn but decent condition with a nice patina on both sides. The higher laying parts of the order show light to medium wear and most details are still visible. The enamels are original without repairs but show loss on the 7 o’clock ray. The order comes with its time period screwplate and its screw is full length.

 

Medal for Bravery #515597

Made of silver and lacquer. The medal weighs 27.4 grams without its suspension and measures 37.27 mm in width and 42.59 mm in height.

In nice condition with most details visible and an appealing dark patina on both sides. Some of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring has not been cut.

 

Medal for the Liberation of Prague with document

Made of gold plated brass. The medal weighs 17.4 grams without its suspension and measures 32.24 mm in width and 37.03 mm in height.

In excellent condition with crisp details and relatively few dings and scratches. The document is in equally nice condition.

 

Medal for the Victory over Germany

Made of gold plated brass. The medal weighs 16.5 grams without its suspension and measures 32.16 mm in width and 36.39 mm in height.

In excellent condition with crisp details and relatively few dings and scratches on either side. A fair amount of gold plating is still present.

 

Excellent MVD Policeman badge with document

Made of brass and enamels. Measures 37.97 mm in height, 28.62 mm in width and weighs 10.2 grams without its screw plate.

In nice condition with medium to strong wear to the raised coat of arms but light wear to the rest of the badge. There are few dings and scratches and the enamels are flawless without repairs. Its screw has not been shortened and the badge comes with its time period screwplate. Its accompanying document is in excellent condition.

 

Order booklet

In used condition but all pages are present and the numbers and name are perfectly readable. It mentions all wartime awards above.

 


Citation for the Order of the Patriotic War:

Comrade Pervushin in the fight against German – fascist invaders in Zhemitsa area, showed himself being courageous and bold fighter. On February 8 – 9, while repelling three attacks, he suppressed an enemy machine gun and killed 14 German soldiers and officers. On April 21, 1945 in the district Lgota, the gun of comrade Pervuschin dispersed the enemy infantry and forced them to fall back from the edge of the forest. On April 27, 1945, comrade Pervushin stormed along with tanks into the village Pustkovets, killing 19 enemy soldiers and officers. Comrade Pervushin is a brave, steadfast and disciplined commander of the anti-aircraft gun M-15, worthy of the governmental award of the Order “Red Star”

 


Citation for the Red Star:

Comrade Pervushin Vasily Yakovlevich at the front of the Patriotic War rose from private to junior sergeant. He is a phenomenon of an anti-aircraft business expert, a master of shooting down facist planes, brave and steadfast in battle while being in the 739th anti-aircraft artillery regiment of the high command reserve in the summer battles of 1943 bravely fought with enemy aircraft, whereby personally shooting down one JU-87 and being involved in shooting down 4 Ju-87.

In the offensive during the summer of 1944. On July 21, in the town of Kuznitsa of the Sokul district of the Beiostokokoi region, he steadfastly denied an onslaught of enemy infantry, fighting to the last bullet. Injured, he was not able to leave the battlefield and destroyed several Hitlerists. With the destruction of the group east of the city of Minsk, within the battle, he took 12 Hitlerists as prisoners. Comrade commander Pervushin is a bold and initiative commander. A valiant defender of the homeland, worthy of the award order of the “Red Star”.

 


Citation for Medal for Bravery:

9. To the gunner of the 1st anti-aircraft machine-gun company – junior sergeant PERVUSHIN Vasily Yakovlevich for stamina and courage when repelling a massive raid by enemy aircraft on the combat formations of our infantry and artillery on 14.10.1943, where comrade PERVUSHIN shot down one Ju-87 by accurate fire.

 


 

Short biography of Vasily Yakovlevich Pervushin:

Born on May 20, 1923 in the village of Krasnogorsk Kriushi, Nikiforovsky District, Tambov Oblast of the RSFSR.

July 13, 1944 on the tank T-34 first burst onto the streets of the city Shchuchina.

After the war he worked in Shchuchin as a worker of DEU No. 836, from 1951 to 1970 he served in the district police department.
