Made of silver and enamels. Measures 57.39 mm in width, 57.33 mm in height and weighs 63.6 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark “Monjetnij dvor” is located above the screw post in one curved line and the serial number ‘0824’ is positioned at the bottom of its reverse. The minimum known serial number awarded is 6, the maximum is 3483. This range suggests a much higher number than the only 589 which were actually awarded!
In great condition with all details crisp. The blue and white enamels are flawless and the orders shows an attractive patina to the silver on both sides. The gold plating is well preserved and perfectly visible and there have been no repairs. Its screw is full length and the order comes with its time period nut.

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 57.39 mm in width, 57.24 mm in height and weighs 63.2 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark “Monjetnij dvor” is located above the screw post in one curved line and the serial number ‘13850’ is positioned at the bottom of its reverse. This early piece features a semi-mirror reverse which can be seen on the bottom part of the top part by the thin vertical lines.
In excellent condition with all details crisp an few contact marks to the silver. The blue and white enamels are well preserved without chipping, flaking or repairs. Its screw has not been shortened and the order comes with its well fitted and correct screwplate.
Order booklet
The booklet is in excellent condition with all pages present and securely attcached to the cover. It mentions both awards together with a Red Star which is not present in this lot.
Interestingly, Lt. Col. Dotsenko did not receive the standard booklet for the Order for Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces; instead, the awards were added to the booklet he already had for his Red Star. This was likely because he was stationed in Germany. The register card supports this, as no document number is mentioned.
