Awarded to Ivan Grigorievich Lyashenko (Иван Григорьевич Ляшенко)
Sergeant in the 62 avp Air Force Black Sea Fleet
Medal for the Defense of Sevastopol:
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.36 mm in width, 37.07 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.6 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition with light wear on both sides only. Its details are all visible including those on the higher laying parts like the eyelets, lettering and the hammer and sickle. The double layer suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has not been cut.
The medal comes with its document dated ’24 July 1943′ and is numbered ‘Ж 14046’.
Medal for the Defense of the Caucasus:
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.16 mm in width, 37.13 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.2 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent condition with several small dings and scratches and light wear on both sides only. All details are present and especially the lettering on its reverse has crisp details and sharp edges. The double layer suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has not been cut.
The medal comes with its document dated ’30 March 1945′ and is numbered ‘M 020360’
