Order of the Red Banner 2nd award #26053
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 44.14 mm in height, 36.14 mm in width and it weighs 23.4 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.
This original order is in excellent condition with beautiful enamels. There are two superficial chips on the top banner and on the left ray of the centre star, barely noticeable with the naked eye and not distracting from the overall appeal of the award. Its details are crisp and much gold plating is still present. There have been no repairs and the double layer suspension is time period to the order. Its connection ring has been cut.
Order of the Red Banner #169392
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.56 mm in height, 37.83 mm in width and it weighs 26.9 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.
This Red Banner is in great condition with crisp details and most gold plating still present. The enamel is problem free apart from some contact marks and a couple of minor chips. The double layer suspension is time period to the order and its connection ring has not been cut.
Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #384352
Made of silver, gold and enamels. Measures 46.51 mm in height, 44.26 mm in width and it weighs 27.5 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.
This order is in excellent condition with problem free enamels and crisp details. There have been no repairs and the silver screwplate is time period to the order. Its screw has not been shortened.
Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #987586
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 45.84 mm in height and 43.71 mm in width. It weighs 27.6 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.
This order is in excellent condition with problem free enamels and great details. There have been no repairs and the screwplate is time period to the order. Note the low serial number for a 1985 jubilee edition which started at 986253.
Order of the Red Star #813387
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. Measures 48.64 mm in height, 50.09 mm in width and it weighs 30.4 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor in two lines is located at the top of its reverse and the serial number at the bottom.
In excellent condition with problem free enamels. The higher laying parts show light to medium wear and much details are still present. The screw has not been shortened and its screwplate is time period to the order.
Order of the Red Star #863578
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. Measures 47.77 mm in height, 48.99 mm in width and it weighs 32.3 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor in two lines is located at the top of its reverse and the serial number at the bottom.
This Order of the Red Star is in excellent condition with problem free enamels. The higher laying parts show light wear only and much details are still present. The screw has not been shortened and its screwplate is time period to the order.
Medal for the Capture of Königsberg
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 37.89 mm in height including its eyelet, 32.29 mm in width and it weighs 17.4 gram without its suspension.
This order is in nice condition with medium wear and much gold plating present. It comes with its time period brass suspension.
Order Booklet
In excellent condition with all pages firmly attached to the cover. The booklet mentions all awards above and an additional Order of Lenin which is missing.
Translation of the citation for the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #384352:
“As the Chief of Staff, colonel GATS I.I. has achieved efficient headquarters function focused on the execution of the operative and economical tasks assigned to the brigade.
As the result of the established efficient work governance, the railway lines and the associated buildings were restored in a timely fashion, while maintaining good quality of the work. Exhibiting constant care, initiative, and persistence, he executed continuous quality control of every single restored site.
He provides essential orders and directions to the subordinate units, which enables to deliver the railway repair projects in time or ahead of the schedule. This, in its turn, assures the timely delivery of the ammunition and flukes to our advancing combat units.
For excellent execution of the missions assigned by the Command, he deserves state award order “PATRIOTIC WAR II CLASS””
