Awarded to Anatoly Filippovich Chegel (Анатолий Филиппович Чегель)
Chegel was also awarded an Order of Lenin. Its order booklet is present but the award itself is missing
The group consists of the following items:
Order of the October Revolution #94963
Made of solid silver, gold and enamels. It measures 44.05 mm in height, 43.44 mm in width and weighs 30.7 gram without its suspension. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the centre of the reverse. Later variation with 5 rivets.
In great condition with crisp details and stunning enamels. There are almost no traces of wear and both sides show an appealing strong patina. The gold hammer and sickle is authentic and there have been no repairs. Its connection ring has not been cut and the suspension is time period to the order.
The award comes with its original booklet in excellent condition mentioning this Order of the October Revolution only. The booklet is numbered ‘З(Z) No 196962’.
