Description
Soviet Badge for the Battle of Lake Khasan (29 July – 11 August 1938)
Made of gold plated brass and enamels. Measures 39.42 mm in height and 29.39 mm in width. It weighs 12.1 gram without its screwplate.
The badge is in excellent condition with all details crisp and light overall wear. Even the higher laying details like those on the soldier’s face are perfectly visible. The enamels are well preserved and show a minor superficial flake on the very top of the banner and on the lower banner only; barely noticeable with the naked eye. Almost all gold plating is still present and its screw is full length. The badge comes with its original and well fitted screwplate.
A beautiful piece in above average condition. Scarce as such
