Made of brass and enamels. The medallion measures 31.44 in height, 22.44 mm in width and weighs 8.1 gram including its suspension but without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with all details crisp and light overall wear only. The red, blue and orange enamels are beautiful and well preserved without repairs. Its chain and suspension device shaped as a star are authentic to the badge as is its well fitted screwplate.
The reverse of the badge shows an engraved text which translates to: Dinghy 4 expedition Sverdlovsk Moscow to Thomas 17/836
