OSOAVIAKHIM (Society for the Assistance of Defense, Aircraft and Chemical Construction)
Made of brass and red lacquer. It measures 39.59 mm in height, 32.51 mm in width and weighs 7.2 grams without its screwplate.
In a great, well above average condition with perfect details and few traces of wear only. The fragile lacquer is mostly present with some small flaking and no repairs; quite rare for these badges. The badge comes with its time period screwplate which is numbered #251862. Its screw has not been shortened.
The Osoaviakhim society was formed in the early 1927; the 10th Anniversary of the Revolution badge was among the very first it awarded over the organization’s 21 year long history. It was given exclusively for making a substantial donation to the Osoaviakhim coffers.
