Medal for the Capture of Königsberg with document
Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet struck as part of the medal
Awarded to Sr. Lieutenant Stepan Evgenievich Kozemirov (Степан Евгеньевич Коземиров)
Made out of brass. Measures 32.10 mm in width, 37.09 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.3 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with its details crisp. Both sides show relatively few dings scratches and most of the original gold-like luster is still present. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension.
Its accompanying document is dated 13 January 1947 and is numbered Б 050007.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Königsberg between 23 January and 10 April 1945.
