For overseeing officer selection, evaluations, and assignments within the Group of Soviet Occupation Forces in Germany

 

 

Semi-mirror reverse with thin vertical lines at the bottom of its reverse. Made of silver and enamels. Measures 57.22 mm in width, 57.45 mm in height and weighs 63.1 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark “Monjetnij dvor” is located above the screw post in one curved line and the serial number “7091” is positioned at the bottom of its reverse. The minimum known serial number awarded is 0043, the maximum is 140290.

 

In excellent condition with all details crisp an few contact marks to the silver. The blue and white enamels are well preserved without chipping, flaking or repairs. Its screw has not been shortened and the order comes with its well fitted and correct screwplate. Both sides show a medium dark patina to the silver.

Having extensive practical experience and possessing fine political and professional qualities, organizational skills, and knowledge, he properly and in a purpose-driven manner organizes the duties of the personnel officers, consisting of following the Party training principles, personnel evaluations, and officer selection and placement.

When selecting and placing officers he keeps in close contact with the service branch chiefs, the services of the Group’s field headquarters, and the political bodies. In his work with personnel he displays consideration and attentiveness.

He is well familiar with the generals and officers within the assignment rotation of the Group of Soviet Occupation Forces in Germany and at higher levels, which allows him to offer more opportune proposals concerning their subsequent assignments.
