Order of Lenin #1673

 ‘Gold Head’ variation

Awarded to Yelena Osipovna Uvarova (Елена Осиповна Уварова), Chairman of the ‘Spartak’ Kolkhoz

For heroic labor, for successes in exceeding the grain harvest output norms by 100–200 percent

Made of solid gold, platinum, and enamels. Measures 38.59 mm in height (including the top of the flagpole), 38.47 mm in width, and weighs 26.9 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark “Mondvor” and the serial number are located on its reverse.

In worn but good condition, considering it is a pre-war screwback variation. Most details remain visible, though raised areas like Lenin’s face show medium wear. The enamels have been professionally restored using hot enamels. There are several dings and scratches on both sides, but none detract from the overall appeal of the order. Its screw remains unshortened, and the order has never been converted to a suspension type. It comes with its original, well-fitted silver screwplate.

The order was authenticated by Filer and is rated a 7 out of 10. Unfortunately the certificate is not physically present but it can be checked online in the database of Medalsmarket. An image of it can be seen in the picture gallery.
