Awarded to Lieutenant Petr Fedorovich Belokon (Петр Федорович Белоконь)
For exceptional courage and leadership during street fighting in the city of Breslau. Facing a fortified enemy force in the cellars, he skillfully organized his company and launched a surprise nighttime assault causing up to 40 casualties. Despite being wounded twice he refused evacuation and continued leading his troops
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 51.05 mm in height, 49.39 mm in width and weighs 42.3 grams without its screwplate. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor are located at the 6 o’clock position underneath the screw.
In excellent condition, with well-preserved enamels showing only minor contact marks. There are no repairs or chipping. Both sides display minimal dings and scratches to the silver and most details remain clearly visible, including the raised areas, which show only light wear. Much of the original gold plating is still intact. The screw has not been shortened, and the order comes with its original, time-period, and well-fitted screw plate.

Short Description of his feat of arms or achievements:
01 March 1945, in the combat engagement for the house blocks 541-549 in town Breslau, Lt. BELOKON’ exhibited personal courage and military skill leading his company. A superior enemy infantry force was fortified in the building cellars and defended stubbornly preventing our advance. After the onset of darkness, BELOKON’ skilfully deployed the assault squads in their sectors. Then, having given the “Go” signal, he rushed into the building under the cover of machine-gun fire. The Germans began fleeing surprised by decisive push. Lt. BELOKON’ organised a swift /follow up/ attack and prevented the Germans in establishing coordinated defence, thus seizing the house blocks 541-549 causing the enemy losses up to 40 troops. During this battle, Lt. BELOKON’ was twice lightly wounded, but remained in command of his company rejecting medical evacuation until after the combat objective was achieved.
He deserves state award order “ALEKSANDER NEVSKY”.
