Made of brass. Measures 32.14 mm in width, 37.27 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.2 grams without its suspension.Ā
In excellent, well above average condition with its details still well defined. Both sides show several, but relatively few, dings and scratches and none distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. Its connection ring has not been cut and the early double layer suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
